About the production
What happens if the best songs of the legendary band Secret are combined into one plot? You get a hit musical about love - which looks like Mamma Mia! and has a mood of La-La Land!
The events of a romantic story unfold in Leningrad in the 1980s. On the one hand, there are white nights, drawbridges, well courtyards, rooftops, underground rock concerts, members of all kinds of underground youth organizations, black marketeers and bold fashion. And on the other hand, the conflict of generations and the choice between happiness and prosperity.
The production is full of heartfelt scenes and comical situations in which fateful accidents and amazing coincidences occur at every turn - because what else would you expect from 'Piter', the nickname the legendary city held even then.
The new life of the songs by Secret took place right after the grandiose production of the musical Chess: on the stage of MDM, the tension of the 1970s was logically replaced by the 1980s with their foreboding of great changes and the spirit of romance and freedom.
